Job Description:
· Positions are in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
· Will co-ordinate with trade intermediaries like distributors and retailers for the promotion of the titles thereby ensuring proper displays at retail level, making available proper POP and catalogues to the retailers, giving title knowledge to them and sales activities like taking orders, ensuring deliveries, ensuring liquidation in the market place, proper stocking of goods at retailer and distributor level, taking payments, checking sales returns.
· Will visit the important educational institutes like coaching institutes like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, MBA, CAT, NDA/CDS, English Speaking etc and schools and colleges for the promotion of the titles and initiate sales.
· Will maintain the proper database of the trade, teachers and educational institutions and shall update the same on regular basis.
· Will maintain cordial relationship with trade, teachers and educational institutions.
· Will to report to “Area Manager” for all the workings and forward the reports to corporate office on regular basis.
· Will ensure the geographical coverage in his territory of all the trade intermediaries and educational institutions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
§ As the position is at regional level in the states of Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala the candidate should be a resident of the states mentioned.
§ Should be a graduate in any discipline with 1 to 2 years of experience in sales preferably in “Publishing” industry. Even fresher’s can also apply.
§ Should have the basic knowledge of computers.
§ Should be willing to travel extensively in his territory.
§ Should be well versed with the geographies of the chosen area and should be fluent in the local/regional language.
§ Should have good communication skills so as to interact with trade and educational institutes.
§ Should apply clearly mentioning the location applied for and salary expectations.
